UK Film Week- Hanoi & Ho Chi Minh City in Dec 2009

Dear All

We are organising a UK film week in Hanoi and HCMC in December 2009

On Friday 11 December 2009, ‘Looking for Eric’ – a comedy by famous director Ken Loach - will kick off the UK Film Week in Hanoi while at the same time, ‘Scoop’ featuring screen star Scarlett Johansson will start the week in Ho Chi Minh City.

In Hanoi, the film week will take place at the Hanoi Cinematheque and in Ho Chi Minh City, the film week will take place at the Galaxy Cinema, 230 Nguyen Trai, Dist 1.

We’re showing a week of really interesting British films which include:

- Looking for Eric

- Scoop

- Happy-go-lucky

- Somers Town

plus one Vietnamese film entitled Choi Voi (Adrift)

All films will be shown in Films in English or Vietnamese and tickets are available free of charge from next Monday, 7 December from the British Council reception desk as well as at the Hanoi Cinematheque.
