Dear members
Come and watch the opening ceremony and the first match (South Africa vs Mexico) of the 2010 World Cup on large garden video screens at American Club. The TV coverage starts at 8pm, although earlier (from 4:30) throughout the evening there will be live music, football competitions for adults and children, food (provided by Al Fresco’s, Foodshop 45 and Highway 4) beverages (provided by Coca-Cola, Budweiser, Son Tinh and Tan Khoa wine), a charity raffle and auction (including some top prizes) as well as a bouncy castle (provided by Santa Fé) and World Cup face painting.
As this is a charity event, there will be something for everyone – even those who don’t like football! Absolutely everyone is welcome to join. So bring your family and friends with you! The British Council is supporting the event and we hope to see many of you there.
The entrance fee is 30,000 VND per person (children under 5 go free). Advance tickets are available from Al Fresco's, JoJo's, Papa Joes and Jaspas outlets and also British Council’s reception.
The proceeds of the event, ‘The Hanoi Festival of Football’, will go to Bo De Pagoda and The Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation, which are proudly supported by:
