UK Alumni Gala 2011 - Contribution Result[ 30/11/2011 ]Many thanks to all who had participated the Galas 2011 in Hanoi, HCMC and Danang, we successfully raised 79,640,000VND for UKAV operation management.
We also raised 51,034,000VND for the UKAV Education Encouragement Fund from charity sale and auction. Especially we would like to send our thanks and appreciation to Mr Steve Jackson (Communication and Marketing Director of the British Council) for his donation for auction of a return Vietnam Airlines ticket for two, from which we raised 26,655,000VND for the Education Encouragement Fund.
The UKAV has a strong donation of fund raising for Vietnamese charities through its events. Donation raised during these events are then distributed to the poor throughout Vietnam.
