The British Council is organising the Education UK Exhibition in October 2011 and we are calling for UK alumni to register to work as interpreters for the exhibition.

We will need 10 interpreters for Hanoi, 11for HCMC and 9 for Danang exhibitions.
UK alumni who work as interpreters will be requested to:
- Assist exhibitors to man their booth and provide interpretation during exhibition time
- Arrive at the exhibition venue approximately 45 minutes prior to the start of the exhibition to help UK exhibiting institutions decorate the booth and receive briefing about the institution from them
- Stay on after the exhibition time, up to 30 minutes, to support exhibiting institutions to clear up the booth
- Attend a briefing about the job for an hour before the exhibition day at the British Council office.
The British Council will select interpreters, with priorities given to:
- UK Alumni of the requested exhibiting institution
- UK alumni having studied/lived in the city/region of the requested exhibiting institution
- UK alumni having studied in the same sector of the requested exhibiting institution (e.g. UK alumni who have studied A-level/foundation courses in the UK will be more suitable to work as interpreters for a college or boarding school than those who only study master course at a UK university)
Remuneration for the interpretation job is VND2,000,000 nettfor Hanoi & HCMC and VND3,000,000 nett for Danang
