Sports Club
To enhance both social
life and communication within the UKAV network, a Sports Club will be
set up in November 2006, covering various sporting activities such as:
tennis, swimming, football and rowing to name just a few.
To mark the opening
of the Club, a football match will be played between a team of alumni
members and a team from a British company.
Detailed information
will be posted on the web in due course.
If you are interested
in joining in the Sports Club, please complete the Registration
Form and return it to

UKAV
Football Team
The UKAV Football Team
will be officially launched soon. Currently, it has got 12 first team
members (See photo below). As scheduled, the team will start
regular practising at 1500 every Sunday from end of December at a yard
near Yen Phu Water Supply Factory. Hopefully, we will be able to book a
playing yard for long - term operation.
Since the beginning of
November, the team with its first players has spent time practising
actively. Some football matches were played between the UKAV team and those from An Binh Bank, Ministry of Construction, Bach Khoa Club and Nghia Tan Club.
We believe that it will
bring more opportunities for UK alumni to gather and socialise with one
another. All UK Alumni are warmly welcome to join the UKAV Football
Team. Please contact our captain Bui Thanh
Lam (Lam bambino – used to be the captain of the London 3) on +84
904 393649 if you want to join us!
